American Roadside Attraction Map

From Ms. Bonanza's Flickr pix of the Johnston Stables in Las Vegas, NV

Quickie-quick, before the generator runs out:

Mr. Kimberly, of Neon Poisoning, has sent me this awesome-looking Google map of Roadside Attractions, American Car Culture, Eccentric Museums and More. Quick perusal tells me it's worth checking out.

Onward with the power outage!

I have never had a more fond appreciation of the the US since I've started visiting some of the places on my map. It is for like-minded explorers, and I hope more people will make their way to some of these places.

Just and FYI; the picture above comes from Ms. Bonanza's Flickr pix of the Johnston Stables in Las Vegas, NV...

The set has 40 pictures of these unique stables that I missed despite living in Vegas for 5 years. *sigh*

I'm sure you've heard of it already, but in case you haven't..

Thanks, Mr. Kimberly, I put a caption on the picture to that effect. With the power outage (still going on!) I was too hasty and did not note whose pictures they were!

Thanks for the credit and sorry about the power outages.

My whole interest in unique American sights and places started with the Christmas gift of the Roadside America book...

Good book!
