Soon

I wrote a whole post, very long and researched, yesterday. Took in excess of 4 hours. Then the Autosave feature managed to help it disappear, all but the last two paragraphs.

I'm a little disheartened, but I'm going to recreate the post in the next day or two. Sorry for the delay... just have to get over the shock. And I do wish Blogger's help section was less depressing.

    I empathize. I recently had a "megapost" disappear that I had spent hours on. I didn't even want to LOOK at my blog afterward! So sorry you have to do another draft.

    I compose using Google Documents then copy paste it to my Blogger account.There will always be a back up copy of my post.

    You can publish directly to your blog from Google Docs too.

    Hmm. Thanks for the idea. I hadn't yet checked out Google Docs, but now I think I will. Especially if you can publish directly...

    Oh, and your posts are so long and well-constructed! That's truly sad. :( I've had the same thing happen to me as well; my lost post probably would have been the better for a complete rewrite, but I found I didn't care enough to do it twice. :(
